Portfolio
In December I asked you for a portfolio of your written and oral work. Having seen what you have done, I feel not everybody understood the idea of the portfolio so in this post I intend to clarify the assignment.
Aims:
The portfolio should
1. Showcase your achievements
2. Collect and Reflect on your work
3. Share your educational and work experience
4. Create dynamic resumes
5. Create a plan of study and work

The teacher wants to know what have you done throughout a period of time, how many drafts have you needed to complete a task, what process have you followed in your best work. What are you proud of and why. What difficulties have you had. What your plans for the rest of the course are. What are your strong points and your weak points.
Presentation profile: write a letter to your teacher telling her what have you included and why. Relate this to your personal goals.
Use a folder to present your work. Make it easy to handle by whoever uses your portfolio.
Use dates, and page numbers. Table of contents.
For example:
Written production:
1. Letter of application (WB p. 15)
2. E-mail to a taxi company (WB p. 27)
3. Description of a town
4. email (CB p. 16)
5. Recipe (CB p. 32)
It is important that you don't present any written work that has not been corrected previously by your teacher!
Oral production:
1. Conversation about moving to another city (CB p. 9)
2. Conversation about performers (CB p. 11)
The oral recordings should be rehearsed several times before they are considered OK (spontaneous and error free).

Welcome to my EOI Intermediate 1 Class!
Today is our second day and we are going to start using ICT. First of all, open an account in gmail, if you haven't got one. Then, you are going to start using Audacity in order to record your voice.
The activities are on pages 7 and 9 (Speaking). You can work on your own (monologue) or with a partner (dialogue). Record your performance several times until you are happy with it (about 3-5 minutes). Then store it in MP3 format. Identify the file with your initials, the page number (IG_L1_9_a) and the name of the group (IG_L1). If you have different versions, name each version with a letter "a", "b", etc. Finally, send it to: eventeoivalencia@gmail.com

2-why are you learning English?
3-interview another student. Get to know each other
